For as long as I can remember, nature has been one of my favorite things in life. It’s filled with so many beautiful things from flowers to butterflies, to fruits and many, many more things in the world. Nature has always given me an inner peace. If I find myself stressed out, I’ll take a step back and go outside without distractions even if it’s for just a few minutes. I’ll ask myself “Is this really going to matter a few days from now, or even an hour from now?” and focus on it. Nature just helps me focus on questions such as those. It also can bring out that childlike wonder of the world to me, as I wrote about recently here.Continue reading “My love for nature”
If there’s one thing I’ve tried to do as I get older, it’s to still try and keep a bit of that wonder about certain things I had as a child. It’s something I lost touch with in my teen years and very early 20s, but now that I’m entering into my late 20s I’ve found life is just a bit more enjoyable by approaching certain things with wonder.Continue reading “Keeping that childlike wonder of the world.”
Hello all! It has been quite a while since my last post. I’ll be back to trying to blog my random thoughts hopefully consistently, anywhere from nature to tea, or to technology. Without further ado, let’s start my blogging journey.
Ah springtime is upon us yet again. Late winter to early spring is my second favorite time of the year, all of fall being my first. One thing I’ve always loved about spring is the changing weather up here in Northeastern North America. The slowly rising temperatures, the cool breezes, and the mild fall feeling early into spring is very lovely to me. Seeing flowers and trees start to bloom, trees starting to bud with leaves creeping back into this world, and birds migrating back to the area is a refreshing change after winter comes to an end.Continue reading “The joys of early spring”
I’ve always been one to pair certain wax melt scents with the seasons or with the weather that day/evening. During the fall, I prefer more cozy scents with vanilla, cream, and slightly woodsy aromas to them, with some exceptions of course. I’m not going to lie, I do get the majority of my melts at my local Walmart, because they are one of the few stores in my area that sells them and I also like to smell the scents to make sure I like them before buying them. When the weather is clear during the day, the Sugared Lavender scent is one of my favourite ones, hands down. It has a pleasant aroma that pairs well whenever I brew a cup of chamomile or lavender tea as well, making enjoying the tea a bit more pleasant of an experience.
Thanks for joining me!
